Wednesday Friends Day- Playgroup

Wednesday's are our playgroup days. It's been this way since munchkin was a little bub. From memory we joined the mothers group when she was 6 weeks old and it went on for 6 weeks. We continued with the same group of mothers onto playgroup at our local community centre.

If you are an expectant mother or a new mum, I would definitely recommend going along to your local mothers group sessions. It was great to have a health nurse/ professionals discuss different topics each week, from having a podiatrist come in to talk about baby feet and how to health it healthy, to discussing baby meal plans and what types of food to introduce to you baby each month.  The main reason I went along was to meet  new mums and babies, and to just enjoy some time with others. I hated the thought of being couped up indoors the whole time.

Instead of using google as my 'go to' encyclopedia, it was a breathe of fresh to actually TALK to someone who is going through similar things as you. Sometimes, it was just something as small as, ' my  baby is sleeping ALL the time is that normal'? (this was when she was a few weeks old).  And low and behold I felt a lot better when another mums would say the same.

I always look forward to catching up with other mum's and their babies, and munchkin seems to enjoy it too.

So here's Rayah outfit of the day.

The  Guess top is in size 3-6 months, it was a gift and came with matching tutu shorts. The Lonsdale pants are also size 3-6 months. These two brands make their clothing slightly smaller than others.

I can't remember where these socks are from but they came in a pack of three.  And the bow headband is from Little Miss Jewelz (I'll have the link below).

I ended up popping a long sleeved onesie on possum, it was windy outside. It's from Target in size 3-6 months, comes in a pack of 3. I love her cheeky little smile in this photo.

Here's a snap from playgroup, only photo I took that day. I'll be sure to take more photos next week, if the parents don't mind it being published.
